We have rescheduled JGSA’s 2021
T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby for Wednesday, June 9. All 10U and
12U players registered for the 2021 Rec season with birth years from 2008-2011
are eligible to participate.
Sign-in and warmups will begin
at 5:30 p.m., with the home run derby beginning at approximately 5:45 p.m. on
Jensen Quad 3 Field. Round 2 will begin at approximately 7:00 p.m., followed
immediately with Round 3. (If players have a conflict with the 5:45 start time,
they will be allowed to register and participate up until the start of Round 2
at 7:00 p.m.).
At least one parent/guardian
needs to be present with each player to complete all registration forms and
waivers. All players participating must wear their 2021 Rec jersey during the
home run derby.

interested 2021 Rec players in the 10U and 12U divisions are encouraged to
participate!

Please note: for purposes of
this home run derby, any batted ball traveling more than 130 feet in the air in
fair territory will qualify as a home run.
Event details:
Round 1
- All participants receive 10 outs (any pitch that is swung
on with the ball ultimately not qualifying as a home run in fair territory is
an out)
- At the end of Round 1,
the 10 participants with the most home runs will advance to Round 2
Round 2
- The 10 participants will receive 10 outs each (any pitch
that is swung on with the ball ultimately not qualifying as a home run in fair
territory is an out)
- Batting order will be determined by number of home runs
hit in the first round with the lowest total number hitting first
- At the end of Round 2, the 5 participants with the
most total home runs (combined totals from Round 1 and Round 2) will
advance to the Final Round
Round 3
- The 5 participants will receive 10 outs each (any pitch
that is swung on with the ball ultimately not qualifying as a home run in fair
territory is an out)
- Batting order will be determined by number of total home runs hit in the first and second rounds with the lowest total number hitting
first
- At the end of Round 3, the participant with the most
total home runs (combined totals from Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3) will be the league’s T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby Champion
