The initial 5-year lease between JGSA / Dragon Select and Wylie Properties for our indoor facility expires on February 1. We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to renew our lease for a new 5-year term through January 31, 2026. However, the JGSA Board would like to share several small changes that were required in order to keep our monthly lease payment to Wylie Properties similar to our previous lease. Please note that these changes help keep future membership costs for Dragon Select families similar to the fees that were collected last fall for the 2020/2021 season.

These changes include:

During months of January through March

• On all weekday afternoons from 4:00-5:30 p.m., Game Ready will have access to half of the JGSA / Dragon Select team practice turf (middle) area as well as the JGSA / Dragon Select East batting cage. JGSA / Dragon Select would still have access to half of the team practice turf (middle) area as well as the South pitching lane, West batting cage, and West Wall area.
•  On Tuesday nights only, from 9:00 p.m. to end of the evening, Game Ready will have full access to the JGSA / Dragon Select entire side of the turf area. During this time, any JGSA / Dragon Select members could use the upstairs area on the Game Ready / baseball side for pitching and hitting.

During months of June through July

• On Monday through Thursday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to noon (only during inclement weather), Game Ready will have full access to the entire JGSA / Dragon Select team practice turf (middle) area as well as the JGSA / Dragon Select East batting cage and the West Wall area. JGSA / Dragon Select would still have access to the South pitching lane and West batting cage during those times.

During months of August through December

• On Monday through Friday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Game Ready will have full access to the JGSA / Dragon Select team practice turf (middle) area as well as the JGSA / Dragon Select East batting cage. JGSA / Dragon Select would still have access to the South pitching lane, West batting cage, and West Wall area.

While these added changes slightly reduces JGSA / Dragon Select accessibility to the indoor facility, we feel that this arrangement allows us to maintain full access during normal Dragon Select team practice time slots in the evenings and on weekends, as well as maintaining our access during the majority of time slots that are most commonly used by individual players and families, while also effectively managing our rental costs for the facility.
