As we near the off-season indoor practice schedule (January – March), we wanted to make all JGSA Dragon Select families and players aware of a few changes to upcoming team practice expectations. These modifications have been put into place to reduce the number of individuals entering the indoor facility and minimize congestion within the waiting area of the indoor facility. These include:

Practice times: Weeknight practice times will be 70 minutes (5:30-6:40 p.m. and 6:50-8:00 p.m.; and 8:10-9:20 p.m. on Thursdays). Weekend practice times are also 70 minutes and include a 10-minute gap between practice times for teams to enter and exit the facility.

Entering the indoor facility: Players should not enter the indoor facility more than five minutes before their team’s scheduled practice start time. If possible, parents and family members should not enter the indoor facility unless absolutely needed to ensure a safe drop-off or pick-up of a player. No parents or family members will be allowed to stay in the waiting area of the indoor facility during practice.

Exiting the indoor facility: Players should exit the facility within five minutes of their scheduled practice end time and use the West exit when leaving.

Safety precautions: Any individual entering the indoor facility must wear a face mask at all times; this includes players wearing face masks during practice.

Our hope is that by adhering to these new timelines, teams will be able to enter and exit the indoor facility with limited contact to other individuals. We appreciate your support in assisting with the quick turnaround of 10 minutes in between practice times for teams.
