Avery of Johnston All-Stars 10U Shuts Out Monroe County

Avery V didn't allow a single run as Johnston All-Stars 10U defeated Monroe County 10-0 on Tuesday. V. allowed just five hits.

Avery collected four hits in four at bats to help lead Johnston All-Stars 10U to victory. Avery singled in the first, homered in the second, singled in the fourth, and tripled in the fifth.

In the first inning, Johnston All-Stars 10U got their offense started when Addison H doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Johnston All-Stars 10U scored three runs in the fifth inning. Chloe H and Avery all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

One bright spot for Monroe County was a double by #38 in the second inning.

Avery was in the circle for Johnston All-Stars 10U. She went six innings, allowing zero runs on five hits, striking out six and walking zero.

#6 led things off in the circle for Monroe County. She went six innings, allowing ten runs on 16 hits and striking out ten.

Johnston All-Stars 10U socked one home run on the day. Avery had a homer in the second inning.

Johnston All-Stars 10U tallied 16 hits in the game. Avery, Harper C, Chloe, Addison, and Emma G each collected multiple hits for Johnston All-Stars 10U. Avery led Johnston All-Stars 10U with four hits in four at bats. Johnston All-Stars 10U didn't commit a single error in the field. Addison had the most chances in the field with six.

#28 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Monroe County in hits. Monroe County didn't commit a single error in the field. #13 had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
