Registration is now open for JGSA Dragon Select softball for the 2022/2023 season. Please visit the Available Programs section under the Registration Info tab on JGSA’s website to register today!
We look forward to having your daughter be part of our great organization. Below is the tryout schedule, with warmups starting approximately 30 minutes before each posted time:
- Monday, June 20 – 9U & 10U: 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 21 – 11U & 12U: 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 22 – 8U: 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 22 – 13U & 14U: 6:45 p.m.
- Thursday, June 23 – All pitchers 9U and up: 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, June 23 – All catchers 9U and up: 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 5 – 8U: 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 5 – 13U & 14U: 6:45 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 6 – 9U & 10U: 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, July 7 – 11U & 12U: 5:30 p.m.
As a reminder, players only need to attend one tryout; however, players can attend both tryout nights for their age group if desired. Age groups are as follows: 2008/2009 birth years for 14U; 2010/2011 birth years for 12U; 2012/2013 birth years for 10U; and 2014/2015/2016 birth years for 8U.
Players are allowed to register to play up by one age division. Girls born in 2010 can register for 14U; girls born in 2012 can register for 12U; and girls born in 2014 can register for 10U. Evaluation during tryouts and team placement will be based on the age group each player signs up for during registration. If a player registers to play up and does not get placed on a team in that age group, she is not allowed to return to her actual age group and be placed on a team ahead of players who tried out for that particular age group.
